Our Drama Lit class is putting on a play! Come see a fun mixture of fairy tales like you have never seen them before in Debbie Metzler's new play, A Walk in the Woods. Narrated by Goldilocks, a poor orphan who wanders in Grimm's Woods. The play weaves together tales like Red Riding Hood, The Three Pigs, and Jack and the Beanstalk...just to name a few! To see the show these students have worked on for the whole first semester, mark your calendar: January 18 and 19 at 7 pm in the Pillager Theater Arts Cafeteria. The Open House for the new building has been rescheduled to Friday, January 25 from 5:30-8:00. (There will be a short presentation around 7:15). This evening will also include double header boys/girls BB games, unveiling of the mural, chili cook-off, and the One Act Play (see below).Back to Top
This year's One Act Play will be Twelve Dreams. This is a competitive theater activity, led by Kristen Rohloff. Twelve Dreams is a play based on a case study of Carl Jung's, about a young girl, her mysterious dreams, and a father who does not know what to do about them. The Booster Club is sponsoring a Chili Cook-Off on Friday, January 25th from 6-8PM! It will be in the New Commons Area during both the girls and boys basketball games. Cost is just $5 to get a bowl which can be used to try all the chili!
